This is evidenced by data from the Global Health Safety Ranking. Healthcare systems of only three post-Soviet countries that are not members of the European Union were included in the top 50 most efficient in the world — Belarus, Georgia and Russia. Belarus ranks 40th in this international ranking gaining 40.6 points out of 100 possible; Georgia — 45th (38.3 points), Russia — 50th (37.6 points).
And this is no coincidence. A developed healthcare system has been created in Belarus, which allows providing a wide range of medical services not only for its citizens, but also for foreigners who increasingly choose Belarus for treatment, rehabilitation or health improvement. First of all, diagnostic services, consultative medical care, high-tech operations, rehabilitation and health improvement are in great demand. Foreigners often also use the services of Belarusian oncologists, traumatologists, orthopedists, cardiologists, dentists and cosmetologists.
