Green hotel complex is located in a picturesque place, on the route of the French troops during the retreat, at the intersection of the trans-European motorway M1 / E30 and M2 Minsk - Minsk National Airport. Guests will be able to see the oaks seen by French and Russian soldiers in 1812.
Fights of cavalrymen and infantrymen, weapon volleys, the smell of gunpowder, puffs of smoke — festival battles are held on a large scale. Guests are given the opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of those distant days, not only as spectators, but also direct participants in the events of the Patriotic War of 1812. They can, for example, temporarily retrain as a front-line surgeon and get a bullet out of a «wound», or try themselves as a blacksmith and forge a horseshoe.
Military history clubs and associations specialising in the reconstruction of costume, weapons, armor and equipment of the 19th century will take part in the “battle” by tradition. Participants in historical clubs will recreate the moment the Russian army pursued Napoleon’s troops, as well as the crossing of the Berezina River.
The festival becomes more and more large-scale every year. It was held in a new format last year and was not limited to reconstruction of the battle in Brilevskoye Pole historical complex. This is a parade of uniformists, members of military and historical reconstruction clubs from Belarus, Russia, Poland, France and other countries. The French side is always actively preparing for the event. This year the orchestra from France will come for the first time and the participation of musicians will become the decoration of the festival.
